The Cathlapotle Plankhouse

Holland America Bulb Farm

Known worldwide for producing superior tulips, this local bulb farm hosts an annual tulip festival that’s second to none.  Featuring a gift shop, test garden, and numerous family-friendly activities, the HABF should be an annual springtime stop for any visitor.

Cedar Creek Grist Mill

The Cedar Creek Grist Mill is the oldest operating grist mill in Washington State.  Built in 1876, it continues to grind grain and offer opportunities for visitors to learn more about history and agriculture.  Visitors will be greeted and given a “Working Tour” of how this mill still works today. Huge pulleys and belts spinning above and below are turning and churning to produce flour, corn meal and even apple cider.

Horseshoe Lake

This 85-acre lake offers seasonal fun with non-powered boating, picnicking and swimming.  A walking trail and skate park for the active land-goer offers fun for all ages!

Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens

Each year, thousands of visitors step back in time to discover the 1880′s Victorian farmhouse and country garden that comprise the Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens, a national historic site. The woodshed, water tower and windmill and gardens have all been restored by the Hulda Klager Lilac Society, a nonprofit organization with approximately 95% of its work force derived from volunteers.  Each year, the Society hosts the Lilac Festival in the springtime, a not-to-be-missed event.
